I saw Sex & the City – the movie.
Lovely lines for each character! Wonderful outfits & accessories.
But the so cliché, so expected, grossly sweet typical American happy ending ruined it for me completely.
The fact that most of the actors look too old, no matter how much make up, Botox, good lighting they used, doesn’t help either.
I canceled my subscription for Vogue because I was actually paying for a magazine filled with advertisement. So I feel I was fucked twice. As long as Vogue earns so much from ads, why would I pay so much to receive it?!
The same with this movie: I haven’t seen so much product placement in my entire life. 2 hours of highly paid advertising for which I bought a ticket!
Probably it was a higher bidding than for super bowl airing time!
I’m so masochist I’ll probably buy the DVD to see the shoes frame by frame, but still… not what I bargained for!
